Called the Miracle Mineral Solution is a 28% solution of sodium chlorite in distilled water. When activated with citric acid, this solution produces chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide is used as a biocide in municipal water treatment centers. It was also the principle agent used in the decontamination of buildings after the 2001 anthrax attacks in the U.S. It has been used after hurricane disasters to eradicate toxic mold from houses. It is effective against viruses, bacteria, protozoa including Ciardi and Cryptosporidium. It may also be used against yeasts, molds, fungi, MRSA and other deadly pathogens.

First discovered by Jim Humble, scientist, chemist and humanitarian, he gave it to a member of his gold expedition who came down with malaria. Humble gave him stabilized oxygen and the sick man became well within hours. Jim Humble figured out why the stabilized oxygen was effective and found that trace amounts of chloride dioxide killed the malaria. That led to over 75,000 documented successful cases of treating Malaria in African nations including Uganda and Malawi. Chlorine dioxide only acts on pathogens and leaves the healthy cells alone.

Chlorine Dioxide is different from chlorine that is linked to cardiovascular events and cancer. Biochemistry note: Chlorine dioxide is one chlorine ion bound to two ions of oxygen. It is ready to accept electrons from “electron donors.” All pathogens are electron donors. The chloride dioxide ion enters the blood stream and contacts a harmful pathogen and forces it to surrender its electrons. Chlorine dioxide cells only detonate pathogens. Pathogens are recognizable because they have a pH below 7 and a positive ionic charge. A microscopic explosion (up to 5 electrons are taken) takes place and the pathogen is rendered harmless. Energy is released and the former pathogen is oxidized and becomes a harmless salt. A biochemical match made in heaven!

Chlorine dioxide is volatile and prevents pathogens from developing resistance. It has to be activated with an acid like: vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid. Chlorine dioxide is approved by the EPA to safely remove pathogens and contaminants. This oral treatment is a safe and cost effective treatment alternative to I.V. hydrogen peroxide treatments.
